There you have it!

DROD's influence is powerful enough to make me register on some random site to randomly vote for it, only to never use the account again.

Hey! DROD got third in the "Quest/Adventure/Platform Game of the Year" category! It got beaten by Knytt Stories and Aquaria, both really worthy games. Not really the same genre though, still confused on that point.

My vote is in (and I registered merely for the purpose of doing so). Only two behind first place now.

AARGH! We just need one more vote to reach the almighty and somewhat sacred first place. We're nearly there! Just give us that last little push forward!

We made it to #1! Of course, it is a small lead, and the Wonderland and Aveyond people could easily rally from behind when the margin is so thin. So I still believe that voting is important for winning this.

I say make the bar clickable, and every time you click it, it tells you to vote.

Hmm, Wonderland Adventures got 15 votes in the last few hours, getting them to 111 against our 114. If they continue at the same pace, they'll have like 200 votes by tomorrow.

Sorry, It's just a gut feeling if they're getting like 1 vote every 5 minutes, and it takes about 5 minutes to register and vote.

Let's hope they do, because I'm very sure the Game Tunnel poll guys are smarter than such obvious tricks. Anyway, this doesn't change anything about our voting... in 2005 we got more than 140 people, did we not? Let's not worry about the competition and concentrate on finding people who haven't voted yet.

Hmm...Wonderland Adventures is still pumping in the votes. It *does* seem to be about one vote for WA every five minutes this morning, but I'll just mention that this is the final day of the competition, and request that people who haven't signed up to vote yet do so today! :thumbsup

Patrick put out his Midnight Post newsletter. This is where the surge in votes come from for Wonderland Adventures.

Don't give up. It's still possible for us to win.

Why not mention the competition in the announcement atop the forum? It's not like that place is being used for anything else right now, and you might draw in some more people that way.

Edit: I was actually talking about the line that reads "Announcement: Be excellent to each other.", but hey, the bar works too.

Heh heh. I didn't realize the bar changed. I changed the announcement too, so it's a little silly-looking now, but it will be alright.

Hmmm. While, I'm embarrassing myself...

vote like a hundred kittens' lives depend on it!

Okay, that's it. That's the last time I'm going to mention this stupid poll.

I'm very glad that I'm in the DROD community.

Even though our tally may not compare...there is at least one admitted cheater on their forum. I believe that we're in the clear for...performance enhancements.

I've yet to find a game that compares to DROD. Or an online community.

Well done, all who tried.

Though this thread, specifically, is not free from cheaters seeing how it was the cheater who came to gloat.
