Wubblade (+2)
First thought was a queen that kills you by laying eggs on you, but stealing ideas is more fun.
The Wubblade
Most of the time it looks similar to a wubba (only it's pink, or polka dotted or something)
It runs away from you but stops at walls like wubbas/gel babies, etc. Brained = scared brained wraithwing (but stopping on walls etc)
Every so often it stops and defends itself by sticking out spikes in all 8 directions. These act just like blades - killing things, activating orbs, destroying crumbly walls etc.
Not sure which would be better, either regular spiking (eg every 10 turns) or spiking only when you (or a decoy) get near. I think the latter would be more interesting.
It is non required.
PP
==
A runaway monster with a different movement pattern.
A runaway monster that can activate bombs & break crumblies (I'd also say orbs, but we have pressure plates)
Another way of blocking Beethro from taking a path, but not other monsters. (Stick the wb on an arrow - if Beethro gets near the spikes block the path)
Blowing up a fuseless bomb safely (with no mimics?)
Beethro has to keep away from a certain area, or it'll spike Halph the hostage.
It could freeze aumtlichs with it's diagonal spikes maybe?
