After monkey (the person not the animal) helped me with a player role problem, i decided to explore the concept fully, realizing that you can cross over water, pits, walls and even stop enemy attacks by using the Player Role function, included is the file for my monster control hold which i hope many people will get inspiration for their puzzles in their future holds, remember power tokens will always get you noticed by the enemy

here are their abilities if anyone needs to know
abilities
39th slayer, clone, decoy, guard, mimic, slayer, stalwart-killing
fegundo, wraithwings-fly over pits and water but not walls
seep-explore walls
water skipper-only able to explore water, not even normal floor

by the way, i never came up with this idea, i only made an extremely simple hold for it

also this can increase storyline, e.g. you've been turned into a golem and fall into a labyrinth for a machine that turns you back to human while avoiding enemies so that when you get it you can fully clear all rooms opening the blue door (this example is for a one-level labyrinth) letting you escape as human form because only beethros sword can cut through the cracked wall to the outside

combine this with good cutscenes and interesting levels to improve your hold!

Interesting. Somewhere on page 4 (at least for now) of the Architecture board you will also find something similar.

Seep can't leave walls. Skippers can attack things on land & move on it that way (puzzle potential!)
Golems are invulnerable to attack by ordinary monsters. Wubbas are invulnerable to those & swords... haven't tested interaction with new elements e.g. hot tiles.
Some player roles will hopefully get the appropriate abilites with a patch.

just go to the level editor and look at the scripts
oh, and tim, sorry i didnt see that :(
its nice how you expanded the skippers, never knew you could attack on water, i assumed that no monster could, my bad
