Have you ever partecipated in a collaboration hold? Or you have ever created a hold with your friend helping? What about a multiplayer editor? You can make servers (rooms to be edited), they can be public, or private (with password). When a person joins, you will see another cursor pointer and he can edit whatever
you want by setting it on options:

Editable Orbs yes-no
Editable Monsters yes-no
Editable Structure yes-no
Editable Scripting yes-no

If you are server's administrator you will see 4 buttons in the editor and the list of persons. You can check persons in the list by checkboxes and usind the "Undo (other)" and the "Redo (other)" you can undo other people stuff.

Also, I had another idea: DLUD
Drod Levels Upload Download

When you're in the game, and you are in select location, if the hold is yours, a button appears "UPLOAD ON DLUD". By pressing it, the DLUD page will be upgraded with your hold. You can see the page by the Main Menu on DROD or also on the CaravelGames page. From DROD, you can download holds by a click, and they will be imported automatically. You can download multiple holds at time and also playing while downloads.

Also, another idea: EDIT:

Why we can't change room style to entire level... I made a 10 rooms level and it's boring to change them all manually.

I like this idea (especially the downloading while playing part). It would be really nice to be able to continue playing while downloading a 300MB+ hold. ;)

Edit:
Seriously, I doubt we'll ever need something like this. I mean, how often do we have large holds?

PS. I find adding small holds already takes a lot of time on my computer.

Well, The Choice, Beethro's Teacher are all 6 - 10 mb. If you're using the 56kb, or a slow connection, it can be useful.

I'm gonna mod you back to 0.

Please bear in mind though that this is probably one of the least clique forums on the web. Please also bear in mind this is a forum.

And Alneyan is most probably one of the most respected players on here. I'm relatively new but have learnt never to use a sentence which doesn't end with a "?" when addressing the old skool.

Just a thought :)

Erh. You *are* slightly old-skooler than I am. I started posting in earnest in July 2005, and I don't have more than ten messages/mails from before that date.

'Respect' would be such a cool word to describe me, had Galloway not stolen that idea. Shame.

You hit the nail on the spot, though. I'm wont to take things quite literally.

*Shhhh* I think I've appeased the situation ;)

As for respect, well you got mine. Maybe it was from the JtRH days when I kept seeing your name near the top. Or maybe it's just from a general old-skool vibe...

:)
