You might just pick the hold project that you think will be most fun to complete, and work on that. It's rare for someone to start multiple hold projects simultaneously and get much done. Maybe Larry Murk can pull that off, but he's had a lot of experience. And I don't think anyone thinks you are taking a long time. From our point of view, you just barely arrived! ;)

Of your three ideas, I like "Chase" the best because it suggests a type of puzzle that could be used in the hold. The other two ideas could be good too, but they don't tell me much about what the hold might be like to play.

Ok, thanks guys! I really have been working on holds for a while, but I just registered. I think I have game making experience because I make puzzle and maze games on paper to plan out what I'm gonna do for DROD. I've already started on Infinite and the next project is Infinite II.

Most people are going to want to keep their own ideas for their own holds. Typically people asking for ideas here do not get their wishes fulfilled. There are some exceptions, but if you are having trouble, you should just focus on one hold at a time instead of trying to do a lot at once.

Okay, I am going to upload a hold to this thread and see what you guys think about it. Umm, how do you upload a hold? I cant seem to find the .HOLD file for my hold. The hold name is Infinite and it is 40% done.

You have to Export the hold from the Manage screen in the editor, or the Change Location screen. Then just attach it to a post in the forum like any other file.

Most of the rooms are cool. And there's at least one or two rooms in every level that I don't like, but overall it's quite good. :)

In general: Where are all the checkpoints? As a whole it is a quite fun, quite easy hold. The rooms I haven’t written anything about was ok, not really funny and not really boring. Below are my impressions of some specific rooms.

Level 1:

1N: Trivial if you enter from the top

2N: Just boring. Nothing difficult, only timeconsuming.

3N1E: Neat room!

1N1E: you are overdoing it. Too many snakes!

3N: very easy.

3N1W Also a bit neat.

2N1W: Time consuming, unchallenging, which is a bad thing.

Level 2:

1N: Neat!

2N: Your best room so far.

3N1E: Very easy room.

3N1W: A little fun

Level 3:

1N1W: Fun because of the trick with the golems and the goblins (to place a golem as an extra wall). A bit too many monsters.

2N1W: A bit neat.

3N1W: I’m not doing this room without checkpoints. It would be tedious with them.

3N: Fun!

1N1E Tedious!

Level 4:

1N: Fun!

2N: How do you kill the brain without getting stuck? Anyway, this is exactly the kind of room I don’t like.

3N: Is that a Hittler cross? Some people might find that offensive.

3N1W: Reminds me very much of another room in the hold. It’s almost the same room.

1N1E: A bit neat.

I tried several times and have been unable to beat L2 3N - I just can't kill the mothers fast enough to prevent the mud from growing too much.

I beat Level 1 and the others rooms of Level 2 (except 3N) - there was a few neat rooms!

Anyways, i think Erik's right. Take what seems cooler, and start working on it. For now, Pritanus' Dungeon is my main priority, but at times, i get off and continue some holds for cause of boredness, and sometimes contribute in community projects (Passing Of The Hold)

Yes, I definitely meant seep - sorry about that. And it's probably a good idea to make sure rooms are possible as you make them - it just seems to work better that way... with the whole being no chance of having impossible rooms thing.

Also, it is not possible to get to the secret room coming out of L4 in the SE - the one with all the trapdoors (there needs to be a non-trapdoor space for you to step off the last trapdoor).
