For those who haven't been following his YouTube Let's Play,
Alex Diener is making a valiant attempt to earn a place in the first 100 Skywatchers, and has now completed ED, ES, SOS and MOAR -- not far to go! However, a new challenger has appeared --
Pearls has only just started playing and recording TSS, but is getting through the hold so quickly that he might well reach the endgame around the same time as Alex.
Both of these two have contributed so much to the DROD community with their video series -- Alex has played through all the main holds without knowing any of the plot or game elements in advance, and so his videos are a candid recording of what it feels like to encounter all the twists and surprises for the first time, which is the best reward any storyteller could have; while Pearls has made a great many entertaining Let's Plays of unofficial holds, including making the epic
Gigantic Jewel Lost accessible to those of us not blessed with his ridiculously overpowered brain. It would only be fitting for them to take the last two slots in the top 100, in either order. We're all cheering them on, but really, who knows what will happen?
