Only kill a roach when it is standing on a normal square (not an open door square).

I'm confused. The main problem in this room is that you get killed almost immediately after hitting the yellow circle buttons (whatever they're called), espeically on the left. I'm obviously missing out on something simple and obvious. Any hints?

I know you've already figured this one out for yourself, but it seems like you were asking for a general hint on how to beat the room. This is the Challenges forum...the Hints and Solutions forum is here. When you make a new topic there you get a map that shows you all the levels and rooms so you can choose what you need help with (once you choose the correct hold--you're on King Dugan's Dungeon), and then the forum shows all the previously created topics on that same exact room, so you can see other people's hint requests and the answers to them. And of course if those don't help then you can always ask for yourself there.

Hi maxjazzbass, welcome to the forum!

If you need help solving a room, use the Get Help For a Room link at the top of the Hints and Solutions board. There, you can select the Hold (which would be King Dugan's Dungeon for you), Level and Room. You'll find 6 pages of hints for King Dugan's Dungeon : Third Level : 2S1E.

For example, here is one of those 6 pages.
