Okay tried it. Got the larger square, but the smaller square is a bugger. After I hit the orb I move and I die.I can't move at all.

I've backed up, turned around, and tried to side step. Since the square is so small you are facing the orb, If you try turning you die, and you can't move backwards because that first roachie gets ya.

Right, so you can't turn. You can't move straight back. You can't move straight forward, or diagonally forward. You can't move to either side. What's left?

back diagonal-down , straight down, back diagonal-up that should help with one roach
