Beethro tries to take a day off but things don't exactly work in his favor. He ends up in prison for a crime he is fairly confident he didn't commit.

A good hold! About the size of a large meal. Digestible in a single sitting, but not without...never mind. The analogy was getting strained there.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this one. Moderately difficult but not unmanageable.

I WILL give it an 8 for fun and 6 brains ABOUT TWO HOURS AFTER I MAKE THIS POST.

Josh

Are you sure about that one?

The hold is still listed as 5.0/10 with a variance of 0...

I corrected the above message. Reality is now consistent.

Ooh, I really like this hold. It has a great story and the puzzles are fairly challenging without being too hard or tedious. I am surprised so few people have commented on it. I just rated it a 6.5 brains with a 9 fun.

This is a hold mainly focused around accomplishing a clear strategy while handling hordes along the way, which I found mostly enjoyable as I got used to the architect's style. The tagline is 'getting used to the TCB elements', and while there is at least one room focusing on most of those elements, the main themes that you'll see include manipulating platforms in somewhat constrained areas, figuring out how to cut all of the tarstuff (especially gel), and briar timers.

I didn't have a particularly strong first impression of the hold - Beethro's Home 1W and 1S were two of the first rooms I played, and I didn't enjoy them very much, but that feeling faded the more I played. I would've preferred it if most of the rooms had a few more checkpoints, though that only became particularly annoying for me in Clearing the Basement 1W and 2W. On the whole, there wasn't too much to make this hold really stand out, but it was enjoyable all the same.
