Can you reproduce this? Looking at the code, it's sure not trying to do it that way... it's only looking at your own last post. That would be weird if it was like this.
I don't know if I can reproduce it myself, but I know I've had a situation where I post a message but get a forum error similar to this, which turns out to coincide with someone else posting in the same thread as I attempted to post. I then have to post my reply again.
I suppose it may not be exactly the same message, but that one rings a bell.
