They brought the prisoner before the Stalwart Captain. The Captain was bathing in a pool of cool water under the Tuenan sun. He pondered the pale stranger as he caressed the two ends of his magnificent black mustache with a strange affection.
"You come from beneath? You work for the Rooted Empire?"
"Yes, sir. I'm an Excavationist... well, I was until I chipped my tooth on a barrier slab. I can only dig at half speed with the injury, so they don't have much use for me these days."
"So you came to spy on us. Then we caught you, and here you are at my mercy."
"What? No, no, I'm not spying! After I lost my job, I got drunk and started tunneling around to blow off some steam. Then I burrowed too far up--into somebody's basement, I guess. I honestly have no idea where I am right now."
"You know that we will learn from you everything we wish to know. It is only a matter of time."
"Look, I'm not particularly good at keeping secrets. Whatever you want to know, I'll just tell you."
The Captain bounded from the pool, fully naked, and grabbed the prisoner's ears in his two wet fists.
"It won't be as easy as that! Now, you calmly lie to me. But with pain, will come the truth!"
"Ahhhhhh! Don't hurt me! I'll tell! I'll tell!" squealed the Excavationist.
The Captain loosened his eargrip, and suddenly spoke in a consoling tone. "My friend, I know you will tell. Today I will introduce to you the ones that will help you speak the truth."
The Excavationist now noticed a group of hooded figures wearing black cloaks which looked severely inappropriate for the hot weather. Each one carried a closed wooden box.
"These are my Truthbringers. You will spend time with each until we are satisfied that we have everything we need."
"Uh... wait a moment." The Excavationist fumbled in his pockets and withdrew a piece of paper. He offered it to the Captain with shaking hands. "Here is a map. It's a very useful map--you'll see. A map of the Transthermatic Logistics Center!"
(The map is attached to this post, by the way.)
The Captain raised an eyebrow. "Interesting. And what is it that they do there?"
"They... handle all logistics relating to transthermatics?" He cringed. It was the best he could offer, since he really didn't understand what people did at that place, despite his perfect knowledge of its construction-related details.
"Truthbringers! Take him! Find out everything he knows. The one of you that learns the most will be richly rewarded."
The black-cloaked figures rushed forward and carried the screaming prisoner off to their chambers of torture.

As a Truthbringer, you must learn everything the prisoner knows concerning the location on the map. The Captain wants to know the names of the buildings on the map, and in each building, he wishes to know the manager, archivist, and secretary. The Captain also wishes to know which tunnels connect the caves and through which barriers they pass.
If you collect all the information, and e-mail it to contests@caravelgames.com before anyone else, then you win!
The Rules:

You and the other Truthbringers will be privately given five clues. You won't be able to do much with them and will need to get more clues from other people. Note that each clue is distributed to four other players besides yourself, so there is redundancy.
You can communicate with other players through any means (forum posts, e-mail, chat, phone call, meet in person). You can trade your clues, give them away, or even make up fake clues to fool people. The one thing you can't do when communicating is offer an incentive outside of the game in exchange for information, i.e. offering to give someone rank points in exchange for a clue is not allowed.
When you have all of the information, you can submit it to contests@caravelgames.com. You should say:
- Names of all the buildings.
- Names of all the tunnels.
- Names of all the barriers.
- Which manager, secretary, and archivist is in each building
Only the first answer you send will be evaluated, so be as certain as you can before sending. When a correct answer is received, I will announce it here in this topic. When three correct answers are received, the contest is over. On November 30th, if no three people have submitted a correct answer, all of the clues will posted here in this topic.

Anyone who hasn't participated in a CaravelNet contest before will get a "rookie" bonus of 10 rank points.

Advice
The map is drawn rather roughly. If you see some object only slighty misaligned with another object, consider them on the same column or row.
Some clues speak of caves being on opposite sides of one barrier. Note that this is not the same as saying that one cave is opposite to another. It is instead meant that moving perpendicular to the long sides of a barrier you will approach one cave in a first direction, and the other cave moving the opposite direction.
Play the game called Watson's Map. It will help you understand some techniques to use.

I've never played this game before, so I can't be an expert here, but a few ideas occur to me.
Make for certain that your e-mail or private messages associated with your account will actually reach you.
Don't lie about facts unless you are pretty sure you can get away with it or not be too damaged. If you lose credibility, people maybe won't trade with you.
Use a combination of public and private communication. You can make general offers in public, i.e. "I know where Third Secretary is. Anybody have info on barriers?" and talk particulars with interested parties.
Don't be paranoid about people winning in the first few days. When I gave Neil all of the clues, it took him 3 1/2 hours to come up with the solution. You need nearly every clue to form a complete answer. It will take a lot of trading for any one person to get all the clues and be in a position to win. I would guess that nobody gets a complete answer until after a few weeks have passed. The time to win will be measured in days, not hours.
Don't wait for all the hints to become available on 11/30. People who have been collecting hints through social means will have a large advantage on you.
If you don't see your 5 private clues yet, that's because I haven't sent them to you yet. I'll make a post after I've sent them all.
