×I liked the five scripted challenges. I was able to complete four of them (all except the queen room challenge).

×The spider room and the aumtlich room don't feel particularly fun. Consider toning down the difficulty in those two rooms.

×In 2E's scroll, avoid the loose phrasing "the button" and say exactly what you mean: "the pressure plate at (11,16)". It's unambiguous and requires less interpretation by the player.

×With regard to 1S1E, it's one thing to say "make it easier", and another entirely to say how. There's very little I can do without messing up the overall design I want: I want two complete columns of spiders, the adder is supposed to help the player by releasing them and then eating some of them, and while I could shuffle around which tiles are shallow water I don't really know how to do it in a useful way. If you have a more specific suggestion I'm all ears (eyes?), though.

1S1W is easier to imagine how to tone down, just by removing a couple of key aumtlich or something. I can look into that. But I sort of want the number of available mirrors to be minimal or at least near-minimal, so there's some concern that cutting some aumtliches, then cutting a mirror that's no longer absolutely necessary, will leave the room just as hard.

I don't feel that 2E's scroll is at all ambiguous; there's only one button it could possibly mean. I'll await feedback from others to determine if it's confusing, and edit it if it seems like it really is. As for the challenge itself, it's quite tricky, to the point where you have to enter the room facing a useful direction (and that's only the start).
