Okay, I've been fiddling with this hold for a good while, reached the regular without too much headache.

However, the same cannot be said about the alternate "hardcore" ending of this. In fact, I'm not even close, cf. the attached screenshot.
I believe I need to somehow fundamentally change my strategy when trying to tackle this boss.

I'd appreciate answers to some, and if possible all, of these questions regarding a decent strategy that doesn't cut beating the secret boss super close:

What is the DEF you have when getting the Lucky Greckle from the Mutants?
How many times do you sacrifice to the cheap Aumtlich? I.e. the one in Cell Block B.
How many times do you sacrifice to the expensive Aumtlich? I.e. the one in Imperial Defense.

×Fighting the boss is completely optional for triggering this scorepoint, it doesn't actually matter what your stats are.

I am aware of this cheese, and doing a quick potion switcheroo, I kinda blow those high scores out the waters, cf. attachment.
And while it's nice to get a big score, it's not as satisfying as beating the Keeper, which was my original intention...

That's being greedy and saving the latter merchant for AFTER the Lucky greckle. (and doing all the secret rooms along the accessory chain, of course)
I do think I got a bit overzealous on trying to boost everything super high, not realising the HP drain would be limiting me THIS much.
In this score, I boosted: but only quite late into the game.
I suspect the key is to boost in moderation, but very early?
