Kind of similar to this.

When you bump a monster and it kills you, the lighting/darkness for the the monster's square isn't drawn during your death.
It seems like if the room darkness is high enough for the player lamp to be activated, there's no problem, even if the lamp is disabled by a script.
Using 5.1.1 alpha 2020-10-18. I can try to make a video or test hold if necessary.

I could not see any issues with lighting during player death while bumping in 5.1.1.alpha.2020-10-29.
