If a monster moves onto Beethro (thereby, of course, killing him), it naturally disappears from its space and appears on top of Beethro.

But if Beethro bumps into a monster (thereby, of course, not moving) and the monster then moves onto him (thereby, of course, killing him), the monster appears both atop Beethro and in its original space. (Confirmed in the editor for various monsters and various directions.)

I am marking it as not a bug. This is just how this visual effect works and while it can cause odd situation like this, I think ultimately it's not worth the hassle of doing it better.

Kind of related to this... As well as the semi-duplicated monster, bumping into a monster as it kills you removes any lighting on the monster's square, but apparently only if the room darkness isn't high enough for the player lamp to be activated. Maybe this should be a separate bug report?

Can confirm in 5.1.1.alpha.2020-10-29 that bumping a monster as it kills you does not draw the monster twice.
