Talking non-sequiters: how should I understand your nick?

Do you actually scuttle rabs? And do you use a scuttle fork perhaps, or any other specialized equipment?

It's from Watership Down by Richard Adams. It is an epic story about more-or-less ordinary wild rabbits. They can talk to each other, and to other wild animals to a limited extent. But they only know about stuff that rabbits could conceivably understand - e.g. the smartest of them understands that wood floats on water. Rabscuttle is the companion of the rabbits' mythical folk hero, El-ahrairah.

It's a good book and I recommend it (and it was sitting next to my computer when I first had to think up a forum name somewhere) I'm pretty sure it's been translated into a bunch of languages.

Thanks for the explanation! I remember Watership Down. There was actually a feature length animation about a dozen years ago. Need read it, though.

And I'm pretty sure that Rabscuttle has a different name in Dutch.

Should start reading it, actually. EN version is also easy to sing by in the Netherlands.
