I did a run of Architects Edition that involved as much level skipping as possible. I thought some people might appreciate the different things it does depending on how you play the hold. Playing the entire hold gets you basically the end sequence from the 2.0 version so here are the parts I know that are different.
For these transcripts, Beethro's dialogue is in black, and Halph's in
blue.
First, if it wants a demo for a room you didn't clear, it cuts back to the screen with Beethro in the chair and you get this:

×You know, Unka Beethro's feeling pretty tired right now. I think we should continue this story some other time.
But you said...
Ask me again tomorrow.
That's cheap!
Okay, do you little snotheads want to know the real reason I won't finish the story?
Yeah, Why won't you finish the story?
Because I've forgotten some of the important parts. There are certain rooms I'm sure I visited, and I wanted to tell you about them, but I can't seem to remember the details.
Unka Beethro is going senile.
You little punk!
Then it goes into a message from Eric that I didn't bother to transcribe, and skips straight to the credits.
If you skip levels with the secret on level four, this happens at the point after Beethro says there were shortcuts, where he would otherwise ask Halph how he knows about it.

×I used them to skip over five [six].
You said you conquered all twenty-five levels!
Well... um...
I meant that I will have conquered all twenty five levels after I go back and do a little routine cleanup.
Yeah, right.
Okay then.
If you skip level thirteen:

×Then came the labyrinth. I uh... skipped past it.
What was that?
I skipped past it!
I used a stairway from the secret room to go past it, okay. There weren't any monsters on that level anyway.
Well, I'm pretty sure there weren't.
So Unka Beethro, what you're saying is: We should always find the easy way out.
No!
Avoid hard work whenever possible.
Not at all!
Yeah, whatever.
I don't have the dialogue for not finding the secrets. I also know there's a big thing with the sixteenth level, but I think I would need to completely play through the hold at least three times to get all the dialogue. Hey Eric, can you provide some transcripts?
