I very much agree with this request. I think I've seen reasons given why this wouldn't work in the greatest imaginable generality before, but at the
very least having a command to instantly go "
as far in [direction]"
as the player can until they bump into something would be handy. Or just pathmapping through things that are completely clear and free of obstacles, which interrupts if anything suddenly becomes an obstacle to the path mid-stream.
