Is anybody here taking part in the current Google AI Challenge, or thinking of doing so?

I am not clear on the connection with Google. I think it is just that someone at Google allowed them to use the name for a previous contest, and the project is continued by volunteers, as it says in the credits. So they got to keep the name.

As for me, I haven't started yet. I think I'll give this a shot, but it depends on how much time & energy I have to spare.
