Hi,

I'm new, too. Although I love every one of his movies, I don't feel like any Arnold. But if I have to choose, I'd go for the second Terminator just because of the awesome amount of destruction.

DROD is very special for me because it's the first game in years I've actually bought. According to the industry I'm quite an evil person because I download almost every good game there is. It's more of a force of habit, really. :X
In search of some new intelligent game I played DROD:AE for some days and was really excited. After 2 weeks I updated to KDD 2.0. Hopefully I won't be frustrated soon because I can access the highscore now. Trying to optimize a level before I even solved or understood it really slows me down, but I can't suppress it. If I find out that I'm far away from a good solution, I'll need years before I actually finish KDD. ^^

Oh, there's one problem: I don't see the full downloads on the download page although I've registered to CaravelNet. Am I missing something? Should I contact someone?

Well, I would have to say I'm a Terminator Arnold. I can get really aggresive sometimes, and I like a lot of action (I play sports).

Hello

So, here I am: the - at this very moment - maybe latest who has joined the DROD community. And it was one of a few actions I have taken in my life without having spent a deeper thought about before.
After having downloaded and tried the DROD-TCB demo for about 10 minutes, it took exactly 1 second to order it together with the one-year-caravelnet membership, because I like puzzle games, and I love role playing/adventuring games (or vice versa). And, besides, the coolness factor of DROD is simply horrifying.
I tend to believe that I will experience several hours of great enjoyment and would like to thank the Caravel crew for that.

Welcome, Deepsteep. Glad you enjoy! I assume you've seen the user-made Holds (by rating)? They'll keep you in entertainment for a long time even if you get stuck a lot - not that that's too great a problem, with Hints & Solutions.

I'm still studying all this stuff about DROD and the world behind it. There seems to be a pretty large DROD community what makes a good game even more attractive. Having played computer games for more than twenty years, I have never ever had a feeling about a new game like this one before.
So the best might be to just start DRODding immediately ...

I'm not exactly new to DROD...I played the Webfoot demo version on a CD of a bunch of freeware demo games back when all you needed was Windows 95. I wanted to buy the full version, but mommy wouldn't let me ;-;

But recently, I have discovered the free downloadable AE! heavens rejoice! I'll probably buy JtRH and TCB when I get some spare cash. This game rocks! o.o I think it ate my soul...

I know I've been here for a little while, but I guess I never really realized there was an "Anything" topic.

As far as Arnolds go, I'm going with Kalidor from "Red Sonia", partly because it was the first Ahnoold movie I saw, and because I don't think anyone has taken it yet. That's the fantasy movie where he goes around killing monsters with a big sword, with occasional one liners. Kind of like Beethro, but not as good looking.

His performance here can be clearly differentiated from Predator, because in Predator he is killing Aliens with a big gun with occasional one liners.
Or Commando where he is killing bad guys with a big gun.
Or Total recall where he is killing bad guys with a big gun. On Mars!
Or Conan, where he is... no wait a minute, it's pretty much the same thing as Conan.
