Is it possible, when you conquered or mastered a hold,
to see the percentage of all the rooms in the entire hold.
for example:
A hold with a master wall.
The master wall is in a secret room.
So you need to visit this room to master the hold.
The only thing this room has, is a stairs to a secret level.
If this room is in the beginning of a hold and you play through it, you might forget about this.
So when you master the hold, you will see in the restore screen,
for every level "100% and the number of secret rooms of that level".

if for JtRH the master wall had been on level 13 in stead of level "the dreamplane", you could have missed a big level full of fun and extra's.
(In JtRH we don't have that problem ofcourse)

I hope am understandable.

Please comment my idea.
:thumbsup

FWIW, I think that's a great idea (although it might be annoying in the cases where there's an unreachable room or two left in the hold that can only be accessed by the editor -- not sure how to deal with that).

As a workaround if you have CaravelNet, you can go to the High Scores page, click on My Stats and look at the Number of High Scores column to see if you're missing a whole bunch of rooms. It's not perfect, but it's usually a good start.

You can also click on the number of high scores box to see exactly which rooms you still need to conquer. It even gives coordinates! ...except for secret rooms. They just say the level and "Secret".

I just don't understand this FR... Is it about showing secret room percentage for unconquered holds?:?

No, it's about showing the overall percentage for conquered/mastered holds. For example, Doctor E. Will's Mega Complex has two completely optional levels -- if you went on secrets percentage alone, it's possible to consider the hold done after only doing 6 of the 8.

If I recall correctly, there is a level in an official hold that is never accessible by the player.

If this feature is included, I predict there will be lots of confused players wondering where the missing level went to.

EDIT: 4 Years!

That's nothing that couldn't be hidden by special-casing that one hold in the code that calculates this... ;)

Except it's not just that one hold. :) A Quiet Place and Floor 33 would have the same issue.

Once upon a time it might have been possible to figure out reachability automatically, but as soon as you add scripting to a hold it's probably infeasible.

You can at least determine if there is a link, reachable or unreachable, to any level entrance. (If there is a staircase or a "Go to Level Entrance" command pointing there, or a connection from a reachable room, it's potentially reachable)
