The Architest idea but little simpler!
When player steps on it it will change Snakes to other :
->Seprent->Rattlesnake->Adder->
..Serpent to Rattlesnake to Adder to..

Got it?
This could create many puzzles! ;)

People already spoke about that in Architest's topic. I do agree that it would be nice, anyway.

For the tarstuffs there is tar/mud, tar/gel, and gel/mud.. But no tar/mud/gel one..
So for the snakes, maybe it should be serpent/rattle, serpent/adder, adder/rattle..

Well, one thing that should be answered:

- will snake change after it moved or before it moved?
This is quite important because of some sutiations:

Example:

Adder. Golem in front of it. Adder is going to eat golem. But player presses adder/rattle change token. So, will adder eat golem and then become rattle or will become rattle before it moved so golem is survive?

I believe things that the player affects occur immediately after the player's move. (I'm no expert.) I think it is the case for tar growth as well as orb striking, so I don't see why this should be any different.

If the gel is about to grow and you step on a token, does the gel grows first and then changes, or vice versa? Same with snakes.

In those situations, all changes as soon as the player steps on the token. We'd want to keep this consistent.
