Hiya,

A friend and I enjoy games of bzflag over the internet, especially late at night when neither of us is able to concentrate on our thesis. Are there any other decent but simple multiplayer games that aren't graphically intensive? We're looking for free ones with both Linux and Windows ports.

I've had lots of fun with freeware Turbo Sliders. Only XP though I'm afraid. Great laugh though

Low-level gfx racing game with up to 4/8 players I believe...

Little Fighter 2 isn't too bad, I think. The controls are simple, the special moves are easy to learn, and you can adjust the difficulty to suit all your needs. And it's loads of fun.

Only played it on the same computer with a friend, but it says it supports online play as well.
