Not sure whether to post this in Holds or Bugs, but I guess this is the place to report which need updating due to engine changes...

Anyways, "The Secret of the Slayer: Wraithwing Lair: 1N1E" can't be completed in 3.1 as winged player roles no longer trip pressure pads... I can't actually see an alternative solution either. There is a goblin there, but the space is too tight to really manipulate him onto the switch with a Wraithwing character (at least not without dying :p).

I'd suggest moving the pressure plate one square east. Then, you could lead the free goblin onto it. :)

That's usually frowned apon. This means that everybody who has a score on that room must play it again, no matter what their solution was.

Seriously though... the engine's changed, the rules have changed. Banjooie would have a field day. Point is, I love this hold... have been playing it for a few days and now it's impossible to continue. I believe therefore it should be fixed.

I don't actually think that the rules have changed, unless you're talking about from the old laissez-faire method to the current one.

Changes to fix unintended solutions aren't allowed. Changes to fix rooms broken by engine changes are (for some value of 'broken' -- but if the room totally doesn't work with an engine change, an update to that room would be allowed, I think).

Totally agreed... This is an engine change though which renders the room impossible and the room should therefore be updated to match the new rules...

IMO, this hold should be changed either as 3.1 patch gets released or in time for that event. Looking at the room (and I believe someone else mentioned this in another thread) a solution would be to move the switch one square to the right...

We can then discuss at which point is should be released...
