Nice job, VIPCOOL!
This is indeed a quick and fun little diversion. The puzzles with the non-Beethro player roles are interesting, especially those in the Cave Traps level, where you play as a slayer. It's cool being able to kill with a hook, with body, or with both at once in the same turn. The Cave Traps puzzles highlighted these abilities nicely. 2N1E was my favorite puzzle on this level, because of the way you have to make the first kill. I don't usually try to optimize my demos, but the slayer behavior was interesting enough that I had fun trying to optimize these.
There are also new scripted monsters in this hold. I liked the stealth monsters in the Pits of Darkness level. It was easy and fun to figure out how they moved and defeat them. I didn't like the scripted "
slayers"
in the very last puzzle room as much. They killed each other off pretty quickly, but I would generally prefer things that look like slayers to move like real slayers. When I screwed up and died in the entrance of that room, I got about a dozen beeps and the game crashed on me.
