Not asking for a game for myself here. My mother was (and is) very fond of the games "The 7th Guest" and "The 11th Hour". Are there any similar games I could recommend to her? She liked the individual puzzles woven into one big game, and it's my understanding that that kind of game is quite rare.

Thoughts?

The Fool and his Money, actually. And unlike Duke, this one's got an update page that's being kept on top of. As in, according to Cliff Johnson, he's got the main engine working again and most of the puzzles, and is guessing it's going to be another month or so before he can go into beta-testing. Stupid memory management issues making the game a splode just in time for Christmas 2006...

It's written in Flash.

For the record: you shouldn't be able to break Flash memory management.

Earlier, Mr. Johnson wrote about his session talking to people at Adobe, and they suggested that he shouldn't have been able to get into the mess he's in.

I personally don't like the current state of this game... especially seen the title "A fool and his money is easily parted" next to "pre-order now". I'm staying away from this one, unfortunately...
