Yeah, I am totally stumped on this one. I was hoping I could make it through the whole game without having to ask for help, but I guess not.

How do you get the Slayers to detonate a bomb?

They never will. You need to stab them. There are various ways to get past their defenses when their options are limited by a bomb and/or walls....

Ok, so I was down to 2 Slayers, and the weirdest thing happened- the guy opened the door! I uploaded a demo of it if anyone here or the dev team is interested. The screen also showed that I got 5th place, so it counted it as a room clear, I guess. I left the room with 2 Slayers alive. How very odd.

I suggest you post your demo here: I put my demo there of the same thing, but since you have 2 slayers left and I only had one, the more demos the easier it will be to fix.

Well, I've read through all of the hints above, and I have played and understood the Duel hold. But it still doesn't help me here; there are too many slayers, and I can't separate them in order to pick them off one-by-one. What trick am I missing?

You can separate them to pick them off one by one.

Remember that you can make an individual slayer stop moving by stepping into a 4x4 square with him. He'll start following his wisp again if you step out of the 4x4 square.

I still don't get it. While I am trying to manoeuvre one, another always comes up behind and pierces me. I'll have another go at The Duel, to try to perfect my skill; but I just can't apply that here. A slightly more detailed hint about how ro separate the slayers would be appreciated.

Edit: Well, I just solved it -- but I really don't understand how. And I'm completely out of mod points, so I can't even thank people properly.

I have not been successful in killing any of the slayers. I have watched a victory demo and still can't see the solution. The motion is to fast to register with my inadequate mental powers. I am tempted to walk away from this, but it is the only room I have failed to conquer in the entire game.

I have practiced in "The Duel" and have that down pat, but can't duplicate the same killing action here. Is there any help for me that hasn't been given, or is there a trick I am missing. Please!

Have you tried using the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard while watching a demo to step through it?

This should bring any demo down to your own preferred speed.
