Um, read the post carefully.

Nowhere in it does he explicitly say TCB won't be released today. He just says it won't be released "as planned". Who knows how they planned it? They could have planned to release it a week from now, or maybe they're talking about the CD/downloadable formats in which it's gonna be released. In the Q/A thread, Oneiromancer uses that exact phrasing again, "TCB won't be released as planned". Sounds like something suspicious is brewing.

I'd say it's not quite time to give up hope yet. Stick around for the Illumination.

Technically, he didn't say to which year's March 31st it would be released by. Therefore, he could have been talking about March 31st, 2008. Or 2010. Or 2100.

Unexpected Truth: TCB will be released (at least the windows demo) and we can see the truth.

If the game does get released, it'll totally ruin my swedish test tomorrow And with further lack of self-control, some math and history after that. The optimal date for me school-wise would be on Thursday at noon, but on the other hand, I still want to see it as soon as possible.

It's a "win + lose / lose + win" situation...

much as I'm all about eagerness, I propose a couple things:

if you find out about TCB a couple hours late, it just means less server load while you download it.

if you're having fun doing something else, you're having fun already (it's a tautological that way)... but my point is, fun is distracting.

if you're not having fun, then move on to an activity in which you are. I suspect clicking the forum over and over and working yourself into a ulcer with nervous anticipation is not actually fun. it's just bad for the mental and possibly physical health.
