I wouldn't want Rolls Royce to start automating.
I wouldn't want a team who's great at making something great to try to make a bunch of smaller things which may or may not be great. I'd prefer the focus on the great thing, looking at every nook and cranny for improvement, and making the great thing approach perfection (or even attain it.) Yes, I think DROD, as it is, is a perfect game, in terms of playing it. I'm not certain about building holds for it yet, because I don't have too much experience with that, and I don't imagine that scripting is all too simple. But gameplay is perfect.
I expect TCB to have perfect gameplay as well. I know Caravel won't let me down there. If they had a bunch of side projects, I'd expect greatness, but not perfection. Guess what I want.
