All my "no pop-ups" occurrences have happened when I had two (or more) tabs on the forum page; with only one tab, it works 101% of the time with my Firefox 1.07.

I may have had more browser windows/tabs/instances but only one on the forum page.

Hrm. I find that with Firefox, if I click before the page is fully loaded, it will not work. I dunno.

I also haven't recieved any goodies yet

Only a small number of them are given out every day, no matter how many times the bar is clicked, so a lot of people haven't gotten any.

Is the chance greater to get a goodie if you start early in the morning clicking the bar or are the goodies spread over the whole day ?

A bit more specifically, it doesn't work for me if the page is far from being fully loaded. If I click when the page is *nearly* fully loaded, it will work fine. So, clicking will bring a pop-up if done after the bar code has been loaded, it seems.

Of course, I do not know *when* the bar is loaded, but it seems to be before 50%.

Just tried Opera again, and I got a popup this time, but it's the same number after page reloads. There's also no pause after the popup is clicked - so whatever information is being retrieved must be from the cache...

SAme thing happens to me in IE6 (w/ and w/o Avant front end). Clicking on the CNet Forum banner instead of pressing F5 to reload the page works to keep the bar incrementing
