I've found one level where it's possible to score 9999 points. I think that perhaps there are more.

I challenge someone to find my 9999 point level, or maybe one of their own.

Makeing one of your own is simple. Just set a high gem value ; a high time limit ; a high time value ; high bonus points. Or make 3 clone machienes, each triggerd by a rock in a indefinite loop so you get a rain of diamonds ; emeralds and rubys.

yawwwwwwn. been there, done that. (are you surprised? I beat the game 2.5 years ago). note that my score for said level was removed from my high score listing on the hall of fame because it was stupidly high.

but, then, I also thought he fixed it. PM me and we'll see if we're talking about the same thing.

EDIT: I just did what you must have done, but wasn't patient enough to sit there until the point counter got that high

no way you can do that in the same demo you master the room, though

I actually played around with a couple of techniques and found one that worked reasonably quickly. The shift key works wonders.

different from us both . I got 9999+ in "through the waterfall" (I dunno if it's fixed in this version, but I remember 2 years ago he said he was going to fix it, so I assume it now drops boulders on the left and doesn't have a cute way of sending up bombs to make it drop an infinite number of emeralds)

It's fixed now in the new version (Through the Waterfall). That's a problem for me. Emmm, nah!

I have found a level that it should be possible to get 9999 points in. (Have not actually gone through the motions, I messed up the process while I was going through the level and didn't feel like replaying it.)

There are a couple other that I suspect it may be possible, but have not yet proven it. Generally, the culprit is cloners, although duplicators could also manage it in combination with teleporters/motion fields. Hmm, that gives me an interesting idea for a level.
