It appears I'm fundamentally missing something about this room.
I need to drop all the trapdoors to make the seep die.
However, that must happen in such a way that the red sister gate doesn't block me.
One way to do that is to not use all three mimics immediately, but then how am I supposed to cross three firetrap rows?

Moreover, with how the room is set up, getting a triple-push to happen seems impossible to begin with... So, uh... What??

That did cross my mind, but I thought it was impossible to take so many mimics with me.
Upon reading your hint Nuntar, I discovered the ingenious setup. Man, Larry is always doing wizardry!
