I am beyond confused here. Obviously I can trap a wubba on the center button, but I cannot keep any on the left button while I travel all the way to the right. I cannot seem to set up a wubba to get trapped in the building with the right button as the left building doesn't extend down far enough.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that this puzzle is based around enemy index shenanigans, and I really hope that isn't the case.

Or maybe I just fundamentally misunderstand wubbas.

Perhaps you have the wrong goal.

I'm gonna be honest that's one of the most bewildering and disappointing mechanics I've seen in a hold.

But, well, that's that room done. Thanks for the help.

Multipass rooms are definitely a thing in DROD. Wait until later...

I'm certainly not talking about that.

At the end of the day, DROD has so many complicated elements that dozens of not-immediately-obvious interactions will inevitably come up. This hold wants to teach the player everything, for better or worse. If it's any consolation, the bizarre stuff isn't all that common (although I can think of a few more rooms that surprised me despite 20 years of DROD experience).
