Okay guys, a long time ago I had a puzzle book. One of the puzzles involved a dog running through a 8x8 kennel. The catch was it had enter exactly 8 cells and only then could it pass through a special gate.

I remember someone recreated this puzzle in one of the official releases. They used a snake that would get shorter every step you took except the ones to get through the "gates". At the end the snake blocked off an enemy so you could get by. Can someone point me at the correct game and level?

This isn't exactly what you are describing (bigger than 8x8, snake needs to survive to eat a queen), but TCB: Torture Chambers: 4W is something similar.

That was it. Thanks. Wanted to adapt that puzzle for a D&D 5e module, but couldn't think of a way that would search for it.
