A heads-up before the stream: I think I'll be pausing the test streams for a bit after today.
We've hit a point in the hold where there's a lot of work to be done on fixing things up - it's mostly this chapter, as it's right in a mix of "not as much testing as the earlier levels" and "architects haven't been very active" so a lot of feedback hadn't been addressed before this. Plus, I'm close to a transition point in the hold that we haven't finished setting up.
And for one reason or another, we haven't quite been able to keep up, or meet our goals of working ahead so that the bulk of the issues can be addressed before I stream the levels.
Part of the reason I started these streams was to provide a little bit of time pressure to keep us working. Unfortunately I think it ended up pushing us a bit harder than we could handle right now, which might have ended up being a little demoralizing.
So I think it's best if I take a pause for some time while we take stock of the state of the project and figure out how we want to proceed. My current plan is to do some architecture streams during that downtime, so that we can keep activity going.
We're still going on with today's stream, although note that I'll be doing a couple of levels which we plan on significantly revamping. I decided under the circumstances that I might as well do them in their current state, and we'll see if that gives us any helpful information.
Thanks to everyone who's been following this. I've had a lot of fun doing these streams, and it's been very gratifying to see them help us out with finishing the project.
