Citizen movement has always been something that takes a corkboard of thumbtacks and string to predict. There is a feature where you can click any citizen to see what it's current target is. But when I watched one run between relay stations in a continuous cycle, I realized that there's no way of seeing which stations that it's labeled as "used".

So here's what I'm thinking. When a citizen is clicked on, the relay station (or build marker) it currently has it's sights on will be highlighted in orange. And the stations that it has already gone to in this "round" of visits will be red.

Can confirm this works in 5.2.0.508. Clicking an a citizen highlights the relay station that is their current target, and also all stations they have visited this cycle in red.
