A short while ago when moving house I decided in the spare time I had without internet to start work on Curiosity 2. After making 2 levels however, I have not picked it back up in about 6 weeks and have lost interest in continuing it. The two levels are good enough to stand on their own as a short and sweet hold.

So one quick retheme later and I present you: Special Delivery.

This hold's gimmick is that it has some fairly extreme element restrictions, including no yellow doors or force arrows, for whatever that might be worth.

Difficulty-wise it's on the low end and experienced players should breeze through it. Demos appreciated. I hope you enjoy it!

Attached are my demos of the second level, except for 2N. I really, really didn't want to deal with the chain mechanics on that one.

Solved the secret room in the editor only, because it was tedious to get there the normal way. Unfortunately I can't record a demo doing that.

Thanks all. Demos are extremely helpful and I really appreciate it.

Just some quick updates on what rooms will be changing and further comments:

Craggy Course
Secret room: As you have all discovered this is very broken, but at least it's easily fixable.
3N1E: All of you avoided the main trick I wanted to get to the secret, so some tweaks will be made.
2N2E: This room has ended up significantly more broken than first appears, it was always the one I was least happy with, so I will be deleting it and replacing it with a new room.

Cursed Courtyard
Entrance: The apostrophe is correct.
1N1E: Nuntar's solution is fine. disoriented's requires me to make some changes though.
2N1W: A real cool solution by disoriented but completely misses the purpose of the room and involves more gentryii manipulation than I'm happy with, so it'll need to be fixed up.

As to why I'm "giving up" on the hold. I originally had more ideas for levels, but in practice they quickly proved more difficult than I cared for given the extreme nature of restrictions I was going for. I still think this hold as is good, releasing it as its own thing frees up my DROD time to work on more cool stuff in a separate project. Everybody wins.

I thought 2N2E was clever, at least using the solution I found. Maybe you just need a way to enforce room failure when the eyes move too far?

Wow KituU that solution to the Cursed Courtyard secret room was impressive! 👏

* Entrance: Added credits scroll
* 2N2E: Removed room and replaced with a new one.
* 3N: Added an extra eye trap to prevent a number of similar unintended solutions
* 3N1E: A bunch of tweaks

Cursed Courtyard
* 1N: Extra checkpoint
* 1N1E: Shorter gentryii, and thinner entrance passageway. Moved trapdoors.
* 2N1W: Shrunk length of first gentryii + some landscape tweaks

Thanks again KituU. Embarrassing that Craggy Course 2N2E is broken by such a minor decorative feature. I must have made it late without thinking.

For Cursed Courtyard 1N 1E it is intended that the Northern gentryii never leaves his area. I think this made more sense back before I put a red door in front of the seep on the right, as sort of a seemingly "soft" enforcement mechanism. I guess it's got no use anymore, but I see no harm in leaving him in.
