Not getting this room.

What I am certain of:
1) The PPs must be both pressed at some point to free up the monster at the other side.
2) It's easy to free one of the aumtlich, but by definition, it is now no longer on the PP. So something else must go there.
3) If go on the PP myself, I'm stuck.
4) So we need a mirror on the PP
5) I can't move the mirrors
6) The aumtlich can't move the mirrors.

This is all obvious But it doesn't add up properly.
