Inspired by Dali's post, I decided to do something similar. (TD?)

When I was developing, I had a lot of ideas. For example:

Add lots of characters with their own skills.

Leveling skills.

Buying traps and other things.


At the moment already implemented:

Hard Mode.

Skill Points HUD.

Frozen Arena.

Hi, I'm glad to see someone making this kind of tower defense holds :)

I've played your hold, and it seems promising ! There's no real base to defend but if we consider the player as a base then yeah it's ok :p (I feel it's more like an "invasion" style.)

-the customized monsters were pretty cool to see. the wubba bobby has a curious way to move, you might want to explain in a scroll for example.

-Please add checkpoints ! especially for hard mode, which is indeed really tough. The normal mode is pretty simple and enjoyable.

Added Swordsman and his skills.

Temporarily removed Hardmode and Wubby Bobby.

Added Shopkeeper.

Added Buildmode.

Frozen Arena has changed.

Added Orb of Wisdom.

Added a Headquarters where you can learn about the monster in the next wave.

For the test you will be given 2 Wisdom Points. Wisdom Point need to get skills. You can only take one Passive skill and only one Active skill.

Shopkeeper sells Skillpoints and Floor Spikes. Skillpoints need only for active skills.

Now this is really cool ! You have way much better understanding of scripting than me so I'd rather say that I need to learn more to make these kind of ideas :P

Overall thaughts:

- The skills are amazing I really liked them ! the "Horror with a sword" is technically a speed potion for 60 turns ;)
Nerf it to 30~40 turns because it's too powerful.

(I'm pretty sure they are still experimental, because it seems passive skills are way much better mainly because active ones are overpriced. The skill points price seems a bit expensive.
It's also nice to be able to choose only 1 active and 1 passive from both. Overall the hold (like mine) needs a price balancing, which needs a lot of testing and retesting).

- 2nd wave is too easy. overall waves are easy, make them a bit harder so the player is forced to use skills and the floor spikes.

- The building floor spike system is very nice ! That's what I was looking for to make a nice tower defense hold ! Player can die while building them but it's fine, he just needs to avoid them. Add some more elements to build ! maybe mirrors, crumble walls, ...

It's sad how architects takes much time to build these kind of hold but then it takes about 2 minutes to finish them.

I'm a big fan of this kind of hold, so add more (challenging) waves! and well done ! :thumbsup

Dismissed Shop Keeper.

Added 4 Orbs with its functions.

Added more scripted Monsters.

Fixed Buildmode bug.

Frozen Arena has changed?Frozen Arena has changed!

Rush of Swordsman and Battlecry became active skills.

Returned Wubby Bobby and Hardmode.

Completely reworked the Script Spawn Monster.

For the test you will be given 1 Wisdom Point.

Orb of Fate gives you the selected reward for wave.

Orb of Wisdom still gives you skills.

Orb of Information gives you information about the next enemy on the next wave.

Orb of Trade sells you traps and skill points.

Again this is very nice. Each version is better than the previous one. The waves are more challenging and now the player is almost forced to use the skills/spikes.

Some other thaughts:

- I wish to see a description of the skills, fortunately they're easy to understand.
Rush of Swordsman is a lot better than battlecry. Maybe buffing battlecry would be nice to have a better balance, by increasing the stealth time from 3 turns to 5 for example.

- Some monsters are really nice, either in the design and their behaviour. The frozen golem is by far my favourite. I'll probably use this monster in some puzzles with your permission of course ;)

- Sadly the floor spikes are pretty hard to use, mainly because of their 10 turns cooldown. When spammed, they are pretty effective but it would be costly. Maybe reduce the price from 5 to 4 greckles.

- As scripting monsters may take some time to make, try to make waves with classic monsters like you did for the roach wave.

For the next version I want to see 20 waves or more !! :) Good job once again.
