Hmm. What's unimportant enough to only be in two rooms?

Of course! The roach! Brilliant!

The JtRH team never ceases to amaze me.

I got it! It has got to be the scroll. Now that the storytelling possibilities are much more powerful, you won't use the scroll all that much.

I'm not sure if Eytan didn't say what it was to be secretive, or just to inspire all the guessing.

It seems silly for it to be a secret, but it is fun to hear you guys guess, so I won't tell you right away.

Game on,

Mwah! I just found a question!

What happens when a golem dies on a trapdoor? Does it count as dropped? Undropped? Never existed?

What if the trapdoor is the last one in the room?

The trapdoor is undropped and inaccessible. You need to be careful in a room with a red door and golems. They can be tricky.

My list of things that could be only in one room:

Neather - Don't ask me. It's some kind of strange twist in the story ;)

Crumby walls - You can use secret walls to hide things. These will be less important

Scrolls - If you can script, where do you need these? (Except some things that sound stupid when they're said by someone or so... (for example Architect's notes)

Spiders - Dev team didn't want to be so cheap again. (But after all the spiders aren't like they used to be so they might be using them more than that)

Tar Babies - They're just like roaches, why use these when you have roaches? (Ok, they fit better in tar mother rooms)

Yes, it has to be some of those. (My guesses in that order, from top to bottom)

Nope.

It's Beethro. Ergo, JTRH has only two rooms.

It's obviously the stairs...
Which expands JtRH from two rooms to a whole three levels!

Of course, maybe Beethro can finally use the elevator in JtRH?

Game on,
Actually, it is implied that there is a picture of it there, but due to the nature of this picture's content, it cannot actually be proven whether the object is actually there or not.

Hints & Solutions: At this time, we don't want to try to make the game an interface for for the H&S board. We could fairly easily add a "Get room help" button or key that would bring up a web browser in the H&S board and automatically search for the room you're in. This isn't in JtRH, and extremely likely will not be in JtRH. Easier yet: While you play, the game uploads your progess. CaravelNet knows the last room you were in. It would be really easy to make it so that if you press the Search button on the H&S board, it automagically goes to the last room you were in. I won't guarantee anything, but that's most likely of all to happen for JtRH, since it wouldn't require ANY changes to the game.

Will everyone be able to access the search feature in the hints and solutions board for JtRH? This would mean that theoretically you could pick a room you think looks interesting and recreate it in the editor without having to buy the game. Of course, you wouldn't be able to get any of the character-part of it and I don't think anybody would bother to do that rather than just buy the game..

Nope, you will only be able to see rooms you've visited. So if you haven't bought JtRH, you haven't visited any rooms, and can't see any rooms. For user holds, it will be up to the author whether they want to leave it wide open or only allow viewing after rooms are visited.

Oh: And this will only work for registered users. So for user holds, if the author selects to only have rooms visible after being visited, then only registered users will be able to see the images on drod.net.
