I don't seem to have the wooden sword in my inventory after I kick the squirrel. The map shows Hervor as the next quest subject, I talk to her but apparently I need the wooden sword to further the storyline. The game version seems to be 30.

Any ideas?

If it's not at the tree (I believe you should automatically pick it up), then it would be in your inventory. Try using the up and down arrows in the inventory?

she picks it up, but it's not in the inventory. I'm aware inventory is multi page.

I was able to get it in inventory after emptying some of my inventory in the chest in guild. Perhaps I had too much stuff for that stage of the game.
