Webfoot, not Caravel, has the digital rights to the game, and they are not releasing it. The only way you can play it is if someone that has the full game can share the .exe file with you.

Unless you just like collecting games for fun, Webfoot DROD is not worth playing at all. Its music is already on the DROD website, and the graphics are virtually identically to AE.

I’m pretty sure you can’t get hold of the full version, but a quick Google search for “Webfoot DROD” led me to this:

Nobody's going to post the game because that would be illegal.

Even if you can get hold of Webfoot DROD, you will likely have compatability issues (the demo posted above wouldn't work for me, incidentally).

To repeat - you should look at DROD: Architect's Edition, which is free, and the graphics are pretty much the same.
