Here's a hold I've been working on. It's not yet complete but it's about more than halfway complete. It has 15 levels (11 are complete) as well as 3 Hidden Levels (2 are complete). That's 13 levels complete. Any feedback?

The Hold has been updated finally!! The Impossible Maze? was deleted for being too lengthy and would obviously drive away people playing the game.

In it's place, I put in another Ice level I called 'Iceberg Isles'.

Since the last update, Lava Lagoon, Walled Way and Iceberg Isles are complete. Next update will have Razor Ridge and Temple of Shadows.

I think there's a mistake in the first level. I've now completed 1N, 1N1W, 2N1W, 3N1W, 1N1E, 2N1E, 3N1E and 3N, but the blue door is still there, leaving me unable to access 2N.

I like what I've seen so far, though. Good variety of puzzles. Only two things: In 3N1W, the brain is blocking the force arrows, so no roaches get out until you've dropped the trapdoor. This makes the room rather easy. And in 2N1E, it's possible to clear the outer squares of tar before the tar grows, so you can avoid dealing with it while dropping trapdoors.

Really? You've beaten all the rooms but the Blue Doors don't drop? Maybe you need to exit the final room first to get the Exit Music going and then try.

I think you probably marked the room with the stairs as required. I have beaten every availiable room and the blue door is shut.

There is no reason to change 1S1E. I solved it first time through it.

I do have a problem though on level 4. 16N I can't get the goblin to go over the trapdoors it always get stuck on the force arrow just to the north. I think I have tried every sword orientation but maybe I missed one.

1S1E where are you having trouble?

Oh yeah...I remember that room. I noticed it but I don't think I changed the file. I feel bad that I make everyone start over and over.

The Hold has been updated *hears all the boos from the crowd*...yeah...

Anyways, Level 9: Lava Lagoon and Secret 2: Hall of Warriors have been completed. Little nitpicks have been fixed so I believe that all of the rooms are solvable.

There are no exit stairs after Level 10 but if you get to Level 15, read the paper and I do listen.

Ok I got through level 4 but now I can't finish level 5. Theres a section at the bottom of the map that has no way to access it (unless I have missed something but looking at the mini map I don't think I have). The only room I can see I haven't solved is 4S2W but theres no way to get into it. There are possibly more unsolved rooms in the other part I can't get to.

I have problem with L6 2N3E. Can you give me a hint? I ever need one more turn but I don´t know how to do it.

Unless I'm missing something, level 6 is not solvable. There are several problems due to red doors:
It's not possible to return through 4N2E once you've gone through the trapdoor. Since it eventually leads to 6N1W which has to be solved from another direction that's quite a dead end.

In order to solve 6N1W you must enter it from the westmost passage from 5N1W. To go through the westmost passage in 5N1W you must first solve it coming from the middle passage of 4N1W which in turn must be solved coming from the westmost passage of 3N1W. That's a lot of switching from middle to westmost passage which can only be done in 3N1W. Problem: the red door in 3N1W prevents you to come back.

As gds said L6 is impossible. I have to check the new version.

I just wanted to say that the hold itself is nice and from yesterday I am trying to finish L6 searching for the trick.

Of course thats the only side you can start on. Its the roaches that I can't deal with. There are simply too many by the time I finished with the eyes. I can get to the end of the trapdoors on about turn 97. Btw a checkpoint there would be nice doing the eyes over and over is frustrating.

I fixed it. Roaches shouldn't be a problem there now. I also checked over all of the rooms and all of them should be solvable and exitable and reenterable all the way up to Level 10 which is under construction.

Hm, I think I beated all of the rooms in L6 but the blue doors don´t open. Did you make the 7N required? If it so I think it is not possible to finish L6.

Actually, I checked it and it's not required. I think you have to exit the room first if there's a Blue Door in it and re-enter it. Although, I think you should check around Level 6 very carefully.

I'm having the same problem as Scott, cannot figure how to deal with the roaches in L6 4N. I also agree that a checkpoint before the bridge is highly required.

Otherwise the hold is more than decent, although I'd prefer a level with less running around than L6 after the labyrinth of L5.

vAmpir is right, level 6 is still not solvable. The blue doors won't drop.

Considering, this is the 3rd time you submit level 6 and not forgetting similar problems on previous levels I think you need to play through the whole hold before submitting anymore. If you don't, you should at the very least supply an anyone edit version so that we can correct such problems ourselves.

We don't mind playtesting your hold but having to play the same level 4 times because of basic mistakes is very frustrating.

Nevermind. I looked it over and I can't find a reason why it doesn't drop. All of the rooms with monsters are checked as required and the ones without any aren't. This newest DL is for Anyone. Anyone can check out the complete map of Level 6 (as well as 7-9 and my current progress on 10)

This time it works. I just made the level 6 and I did the same set of rooms. This time the blue doors opened. I don´t know if this was related to a bug or something?! However, I like the hold until now and I´ll check the other levels asap.
