The Infested Castle : Tower 9 : 1 East (0)

I can get no where here. I can kill a few spiders and the odd eye, but within a few moves I am attacked from behind. I don't think I have any real strategy for this room, any suggestions please?

don't worry as soon as I posted it all became clear! The first few moves are crucial the rest is easy
