Crystal Shard Adventure Bundle
Three short and intriguing adventure games from the makers of Heroine's Quest, spanning several genres and styles.
Deep within his dungeon, Yrolg the Necromancer is summoning a mighty demon to conquer the World. Three brave adventurers, a warrior, a rogue and a sorceress, come to his lair to disrupt this dark ritual. Your job is to stop them! Lead the heroes into traps and to a nasty demise, in
Quest for Yrolg.
On the starship Quasar, the lack of shore time causes tension to run high. The latest argument has proved too much; bringing these warring characters back together will be no easy task. Control four different characters to explore the ship; instead of on puzzle solving, the game
Starship Quasar focuses on their personalities and interactions.
It is time for final exams at the Magic University, and notorious slacker Larry Lotter is about to flunk all of them because he spent less time studying and more time drinking beer. His last hope is to cheat like there's no tomorrow! Using a spell to reverse time, he gets the chance to do his day over again until he passes, in the parody
Larry Lotter and the Test of Time.
Errand
Sara wants to go out and play in the sunshine, but she has a few
errands to complete before she does that. Nothing special, just sweeping her room, feeding the dog, that sort of thing. What could possibly go wrong?
Made in only one month, the game features two different endings, epic soundtrack by Brassfire, and shiny artwork by Bit Priest, Gameboy, and Corby. Special kudos to Bit Priest, who stuck to drawing while his city was struck by the infamous Hurricane Sandy, and managed to complete quite a lot of art in spite of the force of nature!
Infinite Monkeys
Infinite Monkeys is a quirky adventure game involving elves, zombies, a chessboard, Mittens, a zoo, a flying city, a moonbase, a time machine, and numerous other odds and ends. In the midst of all this chaos, can you stop the evil villain's plans before new year?
This unique game was written for a contest that suggested you pick one out of a couple dozen topics, by picking all listed topics at the same time. It also features an innovative interface that steps away from the low amount of verbs in adventure games, and of course monkeys!
Infinite Monkeys is also available in German.
Vector Vendetta
This is a fast-paced shooting game with retro-style vector graphics, that I've whipped up in a few days just because. It's probably the first AGS game that uses a grand total of zero sprites.
Using your mighty triangular ship, defeat the evil polygons of doom! It starts out easy, but on later levels you'll be quickly overwhelmed by swarms of enemies! Contains twenty different nasty enemies, fifteen-odd powerups, multiplayer support, three game modes, variable difficulty, and an angry boss monster.
META
META is a game adventure about an adventure game: in other words, a metagame. It contains an editor called BHT (closely resembling AGS), and a surrealistic treasure hunt called Awesmoe Quest (sic). You can edit this game while playing it, and must do so to find the treasure, assisted by Cuppit the office assistant.
The editor is an exercise of twisted logic and lateral thinking. You have to see it to believe it, but anyone involved in game design or level design should appreciate the humor. It has many controls, inventory items that kill you, and more spelling errors than you can shake a stick at. It's the weirdest thing since sliced bread.
Root of all Evil
Today is Mika's birthday, and of course this is an excellent reason to throw a party. In a town like this, inviting all your friends is easy. There is just one thing missing...
Money. Parties can be expensive, and Mika is remarkably short on money. Still, it should be possible for an enterprising photographer to make some quick cash...
Featuring pirates, private eyes, archaeologists (well, not really), a fully functional camera, and of course a crazy homeless weirdo.
