×When you stand beside the last blob of tar ready to strike the orb to release the roaches and the snake comes it will go towards you. It's easy to manuever it in such a way that it returns the way it came, while you stand behind it, so that it continues in a straight line. In among the trapdoors. That's where you have to be clever and delay it for some time (by droping tradoors, and luring it with your own movement) to manage to kill the roaches before it comes out AND make sure that it comes out with such timing that it doesn't go in cirkles. Do you have Larrys serpent clock? If not: now would be a good time to get it.
