I agree about waiting until we are out of Beta actually. For the time being, let's focus on nailing all those bugs to the wall. But the moment the beta is done, We're going to start a Levels for Collaboration posting for people to contribute! For now, keep dreaming up good puzzles so that once DROD 1.6 comes out (stable version), we will get going right away!
As far as level assembly, I always thought the best way to assemble was to assemble by theme. I do like the idea, however, of having multiple stairways, and a scroll next to each for the themes, then make sure there is a stairway at the bottom of that theme that leads back to the "main" room. The idea of "best of" for each player, while initially sounding appealing, kind of defeats the purpose of a collaboration hold--an author could create his/her own best of hold based on what other people said.
If anyone has further ideas, please don't hesitate to post!
