This is a fairly straightforward single-room hold with a puzzle at the end of it. It's part of a larger puzzle extravaganza called The Puzzle Boat www.gregbrume.net/island/) but can be solved on its own.

Did someone say "larger puzzle extravaganza"?

I suppose, since there was a sudden bump here, I might as well go ahead and note: I was a testsolver for the Puzzle Boat (as well as for P&A Magazine), which means that if you're trying to solve it and get stuck, you're welcome to ask me for hints. (PM or email, natch.)

With JtrH, this hold is a lot easier than with AE. :)

Just played it. A nice thing for a 15 minute break. It's quite easy, but fun.

Ah--but you did get the one-word answer out of it, right? :-)

1. Open DROD.
2. Choose "Play Game"
3. Choose "Change Location".
4. Choose "Import".
5. Browse to where you saved the hold file.

Have fun! :)

Thank you so much. I've been running around killing roaches in DROD thinking that was where I was supposed to be!

So, this probably was more interesting if played in AE, I played in TCB and was able to click on the orbs and see where I was going.

Random "hit orbs and see what they do" don't really catch my attention. The one in the third level (I think) of AE that has a set of 8 orbs you hit in the right combination to open a door, now that was fun, but only because you could read what each orb did.

It would have been interesting to have seen the "boat" expanded but as a one-level wonder it doesn't impress too much. Thank you for sharing though.

Which is the puzzle? I can't find any comments about this drod hold on the site linked by Donimo.
