I know how you feel about that lazy shaving business. I'm the same way. Luckily my facial hair is sort of a wimp so I don't have to worry for a while.

I'm a lazy shaver too, but I have to keep it shaved, or it looks really goofy, because I grow absolutely no hair on the front of my face... I can't grow a mustache or hair on the front of my chin. Why you ask? Well, I'm not entirely sure, but my theory is I can't because when I was a... strange... little boy, I used to lay on the floor and push with my legs, scraping my face along the carpet... sometimes until it bled... What a strange little boy I was. Anyway, sorry to steal the topic, back to the member pics!

Well, I procrastinated a looong time on actually posting a picture of myself. First of all, the digital camera in my house is my sister's, so I rarely use it. Secondly, I really, really, really hate having my picture taken. Still, I might as well.

The image isn't inline because it's something ridiculous like 1500x2000, and I'm too lazy to make it smaller. Nyah!

Haha! I was almost expecting that one. The beard is right on my chin, but not on that picture. Anyway... My username is supposed to reflect the fact that my beard when I grow one is blond, which I think is pretty unusual. Blondbeard is also the name of one of the characters in Monkey Island 3.

Me (techant) at the Queen Mary in Long Beach CA USA. In the background the QE2 is turning around to leave port. This was the first time the two ships had been together. It happened Feb. 23, 2006. It was a really fun day. You can not see all the people from this shot but there was a huge crowd. My husband Robert took this picture
(I am usually the picture gal so I usally don't get in any pictures)

Today I got a CT scan to check out just how bad my deviated septum is. I talked the nice girl who was running the machine into burning me a CD of the images. Oh, she told me she's not supposed to, and not to tell anyone, so... umm... shhhh!

Of course, I had to turn those slices into isosurfaces so I could render myself in 3d.

So.... here's part of my head, as you never thought you'd see it (and probably never wanted to):

Just bones (I had a difficult time with some of the stuff inside, so there's a weird mess of bones through my eye socket.)
And here's with skin. Not sure what happened from my eye down my cheek - I don't have a huge gaping wound there or anything.
And here's the skull with semi-transparent skin.
