You will need to host your picture on the web somewhere. Generally, you could use a site such as
www.photobucket.com, which allows free hosting up to a point. Locally, you would have to attach your image to your post, then edit the post afterwards and stick in the URL for the attachment. So essentially anyone who sees your pic is downloading the attachment within the browser. (Right-click on the attachment and "
Copy Link Location"
works in Firefox, I'm not sure the best way to do it in another browser.)
Edit: of course, if the pic is already online somewhere, you can just link to it. Some websites don't allow their images to be linked to, so you still might need to download it and host/attach it yourself.
